Oonyi Shipping Policy: Get Your Oven Safely, On Time

At Oonyi, we understand that receiving your new oven quickly and in perfect condition is key to starting your baking journey. This Shipping Policy outlines our delivery process—from order confirmation to unboxing—so you know exactly what to expect, including where we ship, how long it takes, and how we handle any delivery challenges.

1. Shipping Coverage: Where We Deliver

We’re working to expand our coverage to more regions soon. Please note that we do not ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international territories not listed on our website’s shipping page.

Before placing your order, you can enter your zip code or postal code on the product page to confirm if shipping is available to your location. If your address is outside our current coverage area, our checkout system will notify you, and you’ll have the option to save your email for updates when shipping to your region becomes available.

2. Order Processing Time: When We Prepare Your Shipment

After you place an order on Oonyi.com, we begin processing it within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays). Processing includes verifying your payment, checking product availability, and carefully packaging your oven to prevent damage during transit.

  • For in-stock ovens: Most orders are processed and shipped within 2 business days of purchase.
  • For backordered or pre-ordered ovens: We’ll notify you of the expected shipping date via email at the time of purchase (and send updates if there are delays). Pre-ordered items typically ship within 2–4 weeks of the pre-order launch date.

You’ll receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order, followed by a shipping confirmation email once your package has left our warehouse (this email includes a tracking number—see Section 4 for details).

3. Order Tracking: Keep Tabs on Your Package

We make it easy to track your Oonyi oven from our warehouse to your door:

  • Tracking Number: When your order ships, we’ll send a shipping confirmation email with a unique tracking number (provided by our shipping carrier, e.g., FedEx, UPS, or DHL).
  • How to Track: You can track your package in two ways:
  1. Click the “Track Package” link in your shipping confirmation email—this will take you directly to the carrier’s tracking page.
  2. Visit the “Order Tracking” page on Oonyi.com, enter your order number and email address, and view the latest delivery status.
  • Tracking Updates: The carrier will update the tracking page with key milestones, such as “In Transit,” “Out for Delivery,” and “Delivered.” You can also opt in to receive SMS updates from the carrier (via the tracking page) for real-time delivery alerts.

If your tracking information hasn’t updated in 3 or more business days, or if it shows “Delivered” but you haven’t received your package, contact us immediately (see Section 7) for assistance.

4. Delivery Requirements: Ensuring a Smooth Drop-Off

Oonyi ovens are shipped in sturdy, oversized packages (to protect against damage), so please note these delivery requirements:

  • Adult Signature Required: All Oonyi oven deliveries require a signature from an adult (18 years or older) at the time of drop-off. This is to ensure your package is received safely and to prevent theft. If no adult is available to sign, the carrier will leave a delivery notice with instructions to reschedule delivery or pick up the package from a nearby carrier location.
  • Delivery Location: Carriers will deliver the package to your front door, porch, or garage (depending on accessibility). For full-size ovens (which are heavier), carriers may not be able to carry the package up stairs or into your home—if you need assistance with moving the oven inside, we recommend arranging for help in advance.
  • Inspecting Your Package: Before signing for delivery, we strongly recommend inspecting the package for visible damage (e.g., tears, dents, or broken seals). If you notice damage, note it on the carrier’s delivery receipt and take photos of the package—then contact us within 24 hours (see Section 7) to report the issue (this helps us process a replacement or refund quickly, as outlined in our Refund Policy).

5. Handling Shipping Issues: What to Do If There’s a Problem

We work closely with our shipping carriers to minimize issues, but if you encounter a problem with your delivery, here’s how we can help:

  • Lost Packages: If your tracking information shows “In Transit” but hasn’t updated in 5 or more business days (or “Out for Delivery” but not received within 24 hours), contact us at [email protected] with your order number and tracking number. We’ll work with the carrier to trace the package—if it’s confirmed lost, we’ll send a replacement oven at no cost to you or process a full refund (per our Refund Policy).
  • Damaged Packages: If your package arrives with visible damage (or the oven inside is damaged), follow these steps:
  1. Note the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt.
  2. Take photos of the package (exterior and interior) and the damaged oven.
  3. Email [email protected] within 24 hours of delivery with your order number, photos, and a description of the damage. We’ll arrange for a replacement oven to be shipped to you (free of charge) or process a full refund.
  • Incorrect Deliveries: If you receive the wrong product (e.g., a different oven model than you ordered), contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll send a prepaid shipping label for you to return the incorrect item, and ship the correct oven to you at no cost.
